GREAT questions!! Originally, Girl’s BB Connect was thought up by a small group of Girl’s basketball parents, coaches and trainers that saw a need for a space for ONLY Girl’s Basketball that players could call their very own. It always seems as if our girls are sharing a gym with the boys, or the boys wont let them play with them, or the boys programs get all of the attention and love, so we wanted a space JUST for our girls to have fun and develop throughout their basketball journey. We eventually saw the demand and the benefits of incorporating the parent, coach and trainer aspect as well, as they are all integral to our daughters’ development. Our vision is for Girl’s BB Connect to be a TOOL for every user that they have at their fingertips, any day, any time.
The short answer is EVERY single one of you, no matter how you access the site, as a player, parent, coach or trainer. But to get a bit more detailed, we are laser focused on trying to help the “tween” girls most directly. This would be the 7-15 year olds. These are the players and parents that are most likely newer to the sport, or progressing through at a time where there are A LOT of questions about everything in the Girl’s Basketball world, as well as with themselves. What sort of team is best for your daughter, will individual professional training benefit your daughter, changes in your players bodies and minds and personalities all fall during this time and we wanted to deliver a platform dedicated to making every element of their journey as enjoyable and as clear as possible with help and direction at any and every intersection. We are just here to help, not only players, but parents as well navigate this! Parents have more questions than the players typically, and we understand that!
We didn’t focus on Boy’s BB Connect because the boys have everything already! We wanted to build a space specifically dedicated to Girl’s Basketball. We’re keeping the boys out of this space to hopefully make them a little bit jealous of US now! So wear your GBB Connect Swag PROUDLY and be sure to rub it in a little to the boys!
Well, we have sooooo many ideas!!! Going forward, we want to have interactive “podcast” type live feeds that allow users to be able to interact with invited and willing players, coaches, parents and trainers, at ALL levels from just starting out to professional!! Just allow users to pepper any questions they may have to the guests in a fun, interactive series. We would also like to see a “Local Facility” side take shape. This would be a partnership with local gyms and centers that could provide real time “open gym” times for players and trainers and coaches to possibly rent out last minute if needed/wanted. We would also like to eventually build an “Elite” arm of the platform for graduating high school and college players and parents who are more established and headed into the collegiate career side of things. This would be built specifically for individual promotion and higher level contacts with college coaches and even professional teams throughout the world. In all honesty, we are open to delivering what you all ask for! If you have anything you want to see in the platform, please let us know!
This is another great question. There are a few reasons. Number one, we want this to be a serious site, for serious users. Free access invites a lot of nonsense and people that abuse the platform. A small fee keeps them away. Secondly, WE DO NOT want to flood the site with advertising. We want it to feel clean, user friendly, and exactly as it is intended. Pop Ups for marketing only adds to the frustration with a webpage and we want to keep that out of ours completely, so the fee helps us run and maintain the site and keep updating to keep it fresh. For parents and players, we came up with the lowest cost option we could, as well as discounts for longer commitments to keep it as cost friendly as possible. For coaches and trainers, the paid access to our site offers you something that you can not get anywhere else. You get in front of your exact target demographic 100% of the time. Nowhere else can offer you that. Again, we feel the membership pricing is a steal for what is being offered and delivered! If you disagree, please let us know!
The Top Trainer program is dedicated to the trainers on the site. You can “opt in” to the program on your trainer dashboard. This will allow registered players, parents and coaches who have used you to rate you on the site. Our 5-10 TOP RATED trainers will be invited monthly to produce and provide short instructional video bundles monthly. These will be featured in our video training library. The selected Top Trainers monthly, will be compensated monthly based on the amount of users that register for the video training library! This will be a GREAT way for trainers to showcase themselves, as well as generate additional income!
“ConnectBux” are simply a form of digital currency that we built specifically for Girl’s BB Connect! You can earn “ConnectBux” every day by logging in and claiming your daily “ConnectBux”. You also earn as you interact all throughout the site! The more active you are and the more you interact, the more you earn! Get those BUX!!!
These can be used and redeemed to enter contests and even to purchase items from our swag shop! You can also transfer your “ConnectBux” from user to user. So keep them for yourself, or, use them to bribe your daughter(s) to do chores around the house, or for having a great game, etc!!

Our chat boards are set up to be interactive for each membership level. For instance, the players chat board will only have players on it. Coaches, trainers and parents will have their own chat boards as well that players will not have access to.
YES!! The chat boards will be moderated. there will be ZERO tolerance for any vulgarity, threatening posts/comments and degrading posts/comments. There is a “report” button in the chats to bring any concerns immediately to our attention.

Please keep in mind, this platform is built to promote positivity, growth, helpfulness and knowledge to every single user!
Every user on the platform will have access to search and view your profile if they desire. Remember, the profile pages are meant to PROMOTE yourself as a player, a coach, or a trainer. Build your profile with that in mind. We have built it this way intentionally to allow YOU to have control of what is in your profiles and what info you want to showcase!
This was one of our main concerns to make this platform work and to make it as safe as possible! We have built this site with different access levels! This limits who can do what. For instance, players can only connect with other players via the player chat board and messenger service. Players can only VIEW team and trainer profile pages. They will not have access to directly contact ANY coach or trainer or parent! If a coach or trainer wants to connect with a player that they may have seen or have interest in, they will have to access the parental access portal and do so through that child’s parent. This is to eliminate interaction between minors and adults. It also discourages coaches from spamming their program to just anyone and everyone. Contact is to be direct, intentional and limited to any player’s parent that they may have interest in speaking to. We do not want players blindly messaging coaches and trainers and we don’t want coaches and trainers blindly messaging players and parents. That will get you removed from the site!
