Girls Basketball Connect started with a simple observation by a small group of parents, coaches, and trainers. Our girls needed a space of their own. For too long, girls have had to fight for gym time, share resources, or play second fiddle to boys programs. We decided it was time they had a platform where they come first.
What started as a dedicated space for players evolved into a full support system. We realized that for our daughters to truly thrive, we needed to bring parents, coaches, and trainers into the fold. This creates a unified community where everyone has the tools to succeed.
Our vision is simple. We want a resource that is always at your fingertips, built specifically to support her journey every step of the way.
The short answer is everyone. Whether you are a player, parent, coach, or trainer, this network is built for you, but our primary focus is supporting girls aged 7 to 15 and their families. This is a pivotal time where the questions start to pile up, from finding the right team and deciding on professional training to navigating the mental and physical changes that come with the game. We built this platform to make every part of that journey clear and enjoyable by providing direction at every intersection. We know that parents often have more questions than the players, and we are here to help you navigate it all together.
We have plenty of big ideas on the horizon. We are planning interactive live feeds where you can jump into “podcast” style sessions with players, coaches, and trainers from every level to ask questions in real time. We are also working on a “Local Facility” partnership to help you find open gym times or rent space at a moment’s notice. As our community grows, we plan to launch an “Elite” arm specifically designed to help high school and college players with individual promotion and higher-level contacts. Ultimately, we are building this for you, so if there is a tool or feature you want to see, just let us know.
The Top Trainer program is a dedicated space for trainers to showcase their skills and grow their business. By opting in through your dashboard, you allow players, parents, and coaches to rate your work directly on the site. Each month, our top-rated trainers are invited to produce short instructional video bundles for our library. These selected trainers are compensated based on user engagement with the training library, making it a great way to build your brand and generate additional income.
ConnectBux are the official digital currency of the network. You can earn them every day just by logging in and staying active on the platform. Whether you are participating in discussions or interacting with the community, the more you engage, the more you earn. Get those Bux and get rewarded for being part of the game.
Every user on the platform can search for and view your profile. We designed it this way intentionally so you can promote yourself as a player, coach, or trainer to the entire community. You have total control over what information you choose to showcase, so build your profile with your goals in mind and only share what you want the network to see.
Safety is our main priority. While profiles are searchable for networking, direct communication is restricted to ensure a secure environment. Only verified members of the community can initiate contact, and because every player account is tethered to a parent profile, you have full oversight of all interactions. This gated approach ensures that while she can get noticed and build connections, it always happens under your supervision and within a protected space.
